Lazy case work. They wont bother to actually look into a report.

My case was re: an incident at a daycare. I reported the incident and interviewed shortly after. I was disappointed because the CPS (Child Care Licensing Division) was deceptive and manipulative. The case worker Rachelle Walter seemed pleasant initially but these people are very crafty and attempt to sow seeds of contention/doubt even on an open and shut case. My case involved a daycare serving my child a product that they knew he was allergic too. The daycare in question also claimed they did not have my contact information when the incident occurred although all of his had been submitted to them via email. Ms. Walter met with me and immediately started out with how she attempted to contact me but the number I provided was not working. This was a lie because when you call the state, they have a means of tracking a report and how else would she have called me. After we interviewed she sent me a text claiming that the daycare said that my child never was served a snack with nuts. With her text she sent a photo of 2 nut products asking me which one did my child have and in the background you could see her laptop where she had typed that the daycare said the only served a "fruit rollup" I highly doubt they said this again it seemed like she wanted me to be defensive but I did not take the bait. I mean why would a caseworker send you a picture with their laptop notes visible in the background. She finally told me it would be up to 30 days before they made a decision. 30 days came and went and I never received anything. I decided to reach out as I thought the case may still be under investigation yet my disposition letter somehow ended up at the wrong address. She addressed it to Frisco instead of Plano. Mind you I just followed up last week and it turns out they made a decision for my case back on July 7. She at not point tried to reach out to me once she got the return letter. I asked her for a copy and gave her my email via text and she asked me again if I was sure my email address was correct. I told her she can refer back to the email correspondence we had before as I was sick of her games. Overall, this was a piss poor experience although the daycare was ultimately cited for their negligence (as I knew they would be), the caseworker I was assigned to was extremely underhanded and trying to find any weaknesses in the case to shift blame from the daycare. She seemed to want to provoke a response by continually being unprofessional, irresponsible. Luckily, I am very good about documenting and retaining my emails/conversations and recognized her shiftiness from the get go. We really need to defund this CPS in its entirety as the caseworkers are unscrupulous and try to illicit reactions to find deficiencies in an open and shut case.

No comment needed to tell you that this place does not like helping people after all.

If you are a father you are screwed. They are playing with children's lives. Because I'm a male they don't believe anything I said or my child. But if this was the other away around they would believe it.
