Book prices are too high for the quality of the book. The book trade system there is not good. They hardly give you any “store credit” for books that are bestsellers since they’re mostly teen books which are the most popular. They’ll be willing to give you $2 for a new release hardcover book which is bull. They scratch out original prices on books as shown in the photo to make it more of a profit on themselves. They call themselves 30% affiliated but I’d call them 30% scammers. The worst part is that they charge for taxes which is ridiculous since you have to pay on top of using your “store credit” I am from the Bay Area and if you wanna check out a bookstore I’d recommend BookBuyers in Monterey on LightHouse Ave. Always done trades with them and will continue as with this sorry store I won’t anymore. Would definitely not recommend this book store.

My mother-in-law and I go here every couple of months to bring back books and get new ones to read. A great selection of books. Nice and organized. Easy to find books your looking for. Great area for kids and lots of books for them too. There are cook books and audio books also. Lots to choose from. The owner is really nice and helpful.

We dont buy books. We give store credit for the ones we can use. We look at up to 20 books per day up to 30 minutes before we close every day.
Yes, it's open. I've been twice in the last month, and they have changed their hours, they are open until 6 pm now
