I'm not sure but it's worth going to Placerville Animal wellness and meet Dr Raymond and have him be your animals Dr...we just had a hip surgery on one of our cat's that fractured her hip and couldn't believe the cost was very low and a beautiful job for her and was up and walking after 3 days...he also saved my dogs life when he got a fractured vertebrae in his neck...nothing but the best care and he loves helping everyone and their pets...

I would call during business hours to make an appt. Their answering machine asks that patients not leave messages, only pharmacies or something. I called, though, and got an appt the next day. If its an emergency, I'm sure they would tell you just to come in as long as they were in the building
