The Clam Chowder was super good. But the female that took my order/money wasn't very welcoming nor did she ever smile.. to describe her would be a straight line. 😐

Bread pudding is great but the clam chowder is the best you'll ever have. Served in a sourdough bread bowl.

Splash does not have gluten free clam chowder, but it does have some gluten free menu items denoted on the menu with GF next to it, and they are very accommodating with food allergies as long as they are notified when you place your order (this is hard to do with the online services, I suggest calling in or standing in the line--its a long line but goes faster than you'd expect).

Yes. They have a phone and online ordering. It's the best place to go for fast tasty seafood. And my husband loves the clam chowder!
I was there last weekend and ate there. Seen a couple of people with dogs outside. Didn't however see any actually inside.

Breakfast hours are between 8:00 and 10:00 AM, and metered parking on Pomoroy isn't in effect until 10:00, when breakfast ends. There is nearly always breakfast parking near the building, except during major tourism seasons like summer and some school breaks.
IMO the clam chowder was just OK..I liked the clam chowder better at Brad's across the street.
We open every day at 8:00 AM. During the school year we close at 8:30 PM Sun-Thurs and at 9:00 PM Fri/Sat. During summer and school breaks we close at 9:00 PM every night.
If you'd like to sit Outdoors get your order to go and find yourself a spot on the beach or around the pier somewhere. The pier right now is closed for renovations take a blanket and have some Chowder on the beach.

Instead of getting the bread bowl, order a bowl of chowder with the bread on the side. You get more chowder for your money and the bread is toasted with butter.
