First and foremost I normally come to this location often, because it’s very convenient for me since I reside in the area. In addition, let me first say the customer service is horrible and holds a value worth less than trash. I had a horrible and horrific experience as a customer, at this location when I decided to commute to this store after coming from the gym. My brother and I enter into this location, and we are greeted with a estranged expression from a worker name Joe who is a manager, which I think should be demoted immediately!!! I will explain why. Nevertheless, we proceed towards the EAAS products I know exactly what I needed, so I pick up the product and took it to the register and there stands Joe the “manager”. I then ask do you guys price match he replied yes, keep in mind I come here all the time so I already knew that they price match, so I proceed by showing him my phone which has the product at a cheaper price on Vitacost, which is the site I used to price match all my prior purchases from Vitamin Shoppe numerous of times and never had any issues , but Joe then says “ Oh we don’t price match online stores. We only price match Amazon or similar stores like us.” I politely replied ummm sir Amazon is a online store. Sadly, while trying to redeem himself from his fruitless contradicting statement, yet he now becomes irritable and impatient, and says” It has to be a physical store you can walk into”. At this point I am overwhelmed by how his ego is overwhelmingly compulsive, and he does not want to admit he does not make any sense. Next, Joe then says “ I am not price matching this item.” I then replied “First I am the customer. Do not tell me what you not going to do. I think it’s polite to let me as a customer know what you can do.” Joe then walks off in the midst of us conversing, because he’s frustrated I’m assuming. I then started to record my experience for evidence, because I am zero tolerant to horrible customer service, but not only was this bad customer service, but he dismissed me as a customer and neglected me as person. My brother and I are standing at the register for at least 3 minutes without no one coming to help. Joe then comes back and says “ Oh my manager said we can price match” I then replied “ Sir just for future reference next time it would behoove you to go to upper leadership to confirm your do’s and don’t’s before you tell me as a customer what you are not going to do. Joe then says “ Uhhh are you going to purchase this or not? I don’t have to listen to this.” I reply “ Sir first of all calm down. I am the customer, and it was your erroneous behavior that caused you to have to correct your mistake and ego.” Joe then walks off. My brother and I are again waiting at the register without being helped or acknowledged. I noticed a heavy set woman with dark chocolate tresses coming from the back I am not sure of her ethnicity, but she continued stocking her items. She then she came over and asked us if we needed help, after she saw us over standing at the register for well over 5 minutes. Subsequently, I find out her name is Alma the store manager . However, my brother and I explained what had happened. She then tried to clean up Joe’s unacceptable erroneous behavior, by saying yeah we do not price match with certain websites, and I am like the fact is there is a way to convey that type of information to a customer, without being hostile and disrespectful. I asked Alma where is the disclaimer or company regulations and guidelines supporting this what you guys are telling me as a customer? Alma replied “ Oh well yeah we have to educate you on this” I REPLIED “EXACTLY” so if I am not aware and I have always used the exact same particular website with all my purchases, then where did my error come from to receive the disrespect, negligence, and hostility? Alma replied” “Yeah okay, so will you be purchasing this product?” I immediately asked for the corporate number and she gave me the wrong number , but I found it!!! Alma and Joe were both dismissive and irreverent individuals.

Great store to buy supplements, they don't carry every brand but still a pretty big selection.

I called to see if a particular store had what I wanted. The very friendly and knowledgeable manager saved my items and I had no waiting when I came and purchased them.
