NEW REVIEW: Four years later and I just got a second tattoo from June and I am thrilled beyond measure. She's a true artist who takes your idea and creates something more beautiful than you could have ever imagined. Her work is original, impeccable and just plain gorgeous. The shop is always friendly and professional. If you can get on her books I highly recommend letting June create a beautiful piece of art on your body. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I reached out to June's studio after losing one of my best friends. I wanted a tattoo that reflected two of the things we loved best...cats and books. The design process was great. I sent June, and her husband Rob who helps manage the business, a series of "look books" of images that gave a sense of what I was looking for in a watercolor tattoo. When I arrived for my session, I sat with June and she unveiled her design. I was instantly in love. I'll admit I was nervous showing up for a tattoo of a design I hadn't seen yet. But as a writer I completely get the process. My nervousness was completely dispelled when I saw how perfectly June had translated my many images into a single, perfect vision. The shop is lovely. The people are lovely. And the whole process was as painless as a tattoo can be. But more than anything I am so impressed with June's artistry. The detail is amazing! I very highly recommend June and her studio.

I got my first tattoo with Hemi. The shop made the entire process super easy. The form to request the appointment was clear and easy to fill out. A couple weeks later, I received a time estimate and quote. The consent form, again, was super easy. They have a QR code so you can fill it out on your phone when you arrive. The shop is clean and brightly lit. I'd brought headphones, but I liked the music in the shop so I didn't end up needing them. Hemi was very nice, walking me through all the elements of the design I'd requested. I loved her design and no changes were necessary. Hemi finished earlier than anticipated. She gave very clear instructions for after care. And the shop shares after care instructions before and after the appointment in case you need a refresher. I'd definitely come back!

My daughter and I drove down to LA from Northern CA to get matching tattoos. We picked Beto based off of his designs we saw on Instagram. It was my very first tattoo and he was very professional, the shop was very clean, and the staff was extremely helpful, all of which put me at ease. To top it off the tattoos are AMAZING! We got jelly fish on our backs and now we wish we would have gotten the tattoo somewhere we could admire it daily. Next time, for sure. Thank you Beto!
