My son and I love training at Alvarez BJJ! Training jiujitsu is one of the best things I have ever done for myself and I am so happy I stumbled upon this place. This is a very clean and well organized establishment, and the staff is awesome! From the beginning, Diego at the front desk helps you feel right at home and we enjoy every lesson Coach Alvarez, Coach Luis and Coach KJ teach us. The students are always so helpful and truly know the value of what being a team mate is. Coach Alvarez is extremely passionate about jiujitsu and it’s reflected in his teachings, he truly wants to help all of his students succeed. I needed a change in my life both mentally & physically and this place was just what I needed… it has become more than just a fitness journey but also a healing journey. Jiujitsu is good for the soul!!

My wife and I definitely made the right choice when we decided to sign our two boys up at Alvarez Jiu Jitsu. From the very first day, we continue to be greeted with a smile every time we show up with our children. The facility is clean and very well maintained, which is very important when it comes to keeping the students, visitors, and staff healthy and safe. We wanted our children to learn self defense, self discipline, respect, and other good habits and traits. I can definitely say I am starting to see a small change already in the one month of them attending classes. There is a reason they have nearly a five star rating. I can say that signing my boys up for a membership here has been and will continue to be worth more than the cost itself. I highly recommend it for kids, or even yourself, no matter what age you are, you definitely will not regret it.

We wanted to get our kids into Jiu Jitsu. We found Alvarez after a recommendation from a friend and signed our kids up for the trial. We’re happy we found a place our kids can learn healthy habits and discipline. Choosing Alvarez BJJ is one of the best decisions I’ve made. Before coming here, I tried bjj at a different gym but wanted to compare gyms before I make any commitments. Let me tell y’all.. after one class with Coach Alvarez, I knew this was the one. Coach Alvarez is passionate about bjj and his students. I love the fact that even though his classes are large, he knows his students and is very attentive. He knows when students are doing well and when they need a bit more assistance. The other coaches, staff, and students here are all great as well. Everyone has been super friendly and helpful. I am so happy to be part of this team and excited to see where my bjj journey takes me.
