All rooms are marked non smoking. The owner basically threatens you at the front desk if you smoke anything in the rooms he will charge you $350 because his housekeeper is allergic to smoke. Ashtrays, well tuna cans, are provided for smokers within a foot and a half of the door to the rooms. As soon as I walked into the room it smelled like it had been smoked in for 50+ years along with a milde smell. The pillows were flat, sheets were dingy yellow, and comforter that looked to be alteast 15-20 years old (who knew when the last time it was washed.) The bed was hard as a rock. The A/C unit didn't work either. It was muggy. Honestly, I wouldn't EVER stop here again. Definitely not worth the rate they charge and the owner Definitely could use some lessons in manners.

This is the cleanest motel I've EVER been in! You can tell someone loves this place by the manner in which it's cared for. I wish the road noise wasn't so prominent, but my bluetooth speaker solved that. The front desk fella was amiable, the king bed comfortable, the pillows plump and the shower had great water pressure. If I'm ever in New Martinsville, WV again, this is where I'll stay.

We really liked staying here. The room was large and clean. Great wi-fi connectivity, decent prices. We also really liked that they put in electric strips with USB chargers as well. Great touch. Our mattress could have been better and a light bulb needed to be replaced on the light above the bed, but I wouldn't let that bring the score down.

It's a great, clean and well kept place to stay. I went for a funeral and stayed for a few days. I mentioned it in passing and the owner remembered days later and asked me how it went and gave me very genuine condolences. Such a great guy too. There's few things nicer to see than a person who takes pride in what they do. And its half the price of these others.
