They have been really great helping us out wth food and the staff was very nice ..The only thing that really made me feel like i was basically trash ..was i am in a horable situation right now i only have till friday and for the first time in my life i wont have a place to sleep ..my mother is having some health issues and rashly sold the townhouse where we live ..i ask the charity about emergency housing voucher ..but they wouldnt help me out due to the fact that yrs ago i had exactly 15days to switch from a 3bdrm to a1bdrm ..wth no exrentions allowed on my voucher.so it exspired because there is no way to find and get into any apartment in grand prairie ..So they wouldnt help me ..So now for the first time in my life because my granny alwsys had a home for me and my boys and any of my friends growing up that needed helpor place to sleep.....but she is gone my mom has dementia and not even she she has anywhere to go to on the 30th ..but she will have enough money to get another place..i will barely have 500dollars left..and wth no car and no way posdible cann ssi income get you in anywhere no matter what ..so other than being scared to death and lost comepleetely ..theyre great

They do not assist with rent. And in order to get help with bills yes you have to live in Grand Prairie
Go to United charities they're open from 9 to 2 Monday Tuesdays Thursdays and Fridays. Call if im not mistaken they are open in Wednesday evenings
211 has a list of general and specific organizations. They are 24/7.
Yes I would help my community.
Just go in and tell them you want to sign up for it
No but they can refer you to some people. Try Foremost Dental. They go by your income. It does not matter where you live. Good Luck.
United Charities does not cook meals. It's a food bank, helps pay utilities (if qualified). Depending on your needs, they do help people out in need
Yes
Right now they moved to a new location temporarily. If you type in Grand Prairie United Charities. Look at my pictures. Read what all the signs say. I do not want to lie to you. I hope that helps. Thank you , for all of your questions, comments and concerns. Please visit Google Maps again.

Just bring whatever you can provide. Grand Prairie United Charities are closed on Wednesdays. You can call before you come if you would like.
If they have the money they will. Its the first of the month go today the stop taking people at one am
United Charities will help you. Call them Monday. Also try Emaculate Consumption Church in Grand Prairie.
Try United Charties. They are known to help. All you can do is ask. If not try the Barrio
