I am from out of state and we stopped at Shell for me to use the atm and the restroom. I asked the lady to unlock the restroom and she said NO and I just couldn't believe it. There was another customer in there and I was just outdone. She was rude unprofessional etc. She went on to rant on about another customer had put this and that in the restroom and she was just not going to open it anymore. I have never encountered such behavior from an employee. Is this what folks mean about the 'DIRTY SOUTH".?

What's sad is I know exactly who you are talking about. You could have just said "Lady" and I would have still known. I've wanted the answer to this myself, because I've seen first hand her wrath, but after some quiet contemplation I realized its probably because she works at that shell. Or any shell. Think of all the bad life decisions you have to make to end up at that Shell at her age. Still. She she probably seeking counseling.
