Bel Lago is a fan favorite of ours, we are wine club members. We love Lake Leelanau and visit every year, Bel Lago is always a must stop. Haven’t tried a single bad wine and the staff is helpful and friendly. The flowers and scenery are gorgeous. Love this winery!

Very disappointed. The least impressive experience I’ve had, whilst out wine tasting at multiple vineyards, today. The customer service is poor. Elsewhere, staff is cool and friendly.The management needs to experience their competition and see how them having customers pick out some of the menu items(themselves) from a cooler, presenting crackers in sealed plastic(this is not the height of Covid) and a flimsy plastic knife- is NOT how it’s done ! This is the ONLY winery that has not offered free tastings(tastings period!), as they tell you it’s by the glass or flight. How do you know what you’d like? I know, I’d like to take my business elsewhere. They don’t capitalize the view of the lake, across the street. No view of the grapevines. No music! The view is obstructed. I am Whining but, not recommending wining, there.
