Great selection of trees, shrubs and flowers. A bit off the beaten path but worth the drive.

I love coming to Shades of Green! They always have an incredible selection of plants. They have the best Vincas! The Vincas we bought thrived! We love to come in October because they also have the coolest selection of pumpkins. Everyone who works there has always been super helpful when we come with questions.

They have good quality plants, are knowledgeable and very helpful

Probably the best local garden shop in Frisco. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. You can tell they all actually garden and know their job. Plants get watered and cared for. I've never walked in with a specific need and not gotten answers. Including the tools and products to go along with it. It's a beautiful space too. Also every Fall the have an incredible selection of pumpkins and chrysanthemums. This place is pure quality.

We do not.
Yes. 15-gallon @ $150. 30-gallon @ $210.
Hey Christina, BrokeGuy is correct. Our return policy is 30-days with the receipt. Hope this helps!
Not yet. We do carry it, but none has arrived this season. We hope to have it in stock soon.
Sorry, but we're currently out. We hope to be restocked by the end of the day.
We don't sell sod. You're best option would be A-1 Grass Sand & Stone. They have locations in Prosper & Plano.
Not currently. We've sold out twice this season. We *hope* to be re-stocked by the end of the week.
We do carry white creeping phlox, but none in stock at the moment. We do carry purple diamond, but have sold out. More are on the way. Purple fountain grass has been harder to source this year, but we are expecting a shipment this week.
Sorry, but we do not have Ajwain / Carom seed. But since you've asked we will see if we can find a distributor. In the meantime, you might consider ordering online from a specialty seed site.
Possibly. Please contact Jarratt Calvert, Operations Manager at 972-335-9095.
Not this time of year. We do carry it in spring, usually beginning mid-March (weather permitting).
Normally, yes. Magnolias and camellias are popular, but at the moment we are out of espalier plants. We do expect to receive some in September, though until our orders are confirmed I cannot say what will be shipped.
Sorry, no. We do not. You might contact a stone yard or stone supply company.
Not at the moment. Many types of roses have been difficult to source due to extremely high demand.
Yes, we do. The variety currently in stock is Becky! See you soon!
Normally, yes. We have none in stock at the moment.
Not currently. We do carry them, but have sold out twice already this spring. More are on the way, but may not arrive until next week.
Hey Robert...yes Marty is correct. Due to the devastation of Palm trees in our area, the Palm supply was wiped out early in the season. Now, we're just waiting on our growers to release more crops as the Palms mature. Stay tuned or go see our friends at North Texas Palms! They are great with palm selection and advice. Have a good day!
We were just there and they had some in the shade bldg. Don't recall if Proven Winners but they were the reblooming ones.
We do carry Pride of Barbados, but we don't currently have any in stock. Those typically arrive after mid-April when they're leafing out.
Not really. We have some plants that would do well in a bog - canna lily, papyrus, horsetail reed, and Louisiana Iris - but we don't sell water lilies or cattails. As a 25+ year pond owner, I can tell you that the best place to find pond plants in the metroplex is Dickson Brothers in Mesquite.
We can try our best! Bring it in and ask for Lillian.
Not at the moment. The only variety currently in stock is Celeste.
Yes, we can provide the Mexican Heather, a nice pot and plant it up for you. We can even deliver if you would like! Give us a call 972.335.9095 or swing by the nursery and we'll get you fixed up!
We recently received some 1-gallons!
The vast majority of our plants come from growers who utilize greenhouses using sunlight instead of artificial lighting. That said, some of the house plants are bound to have received supplemental lighting during their cultivation.
Hi Gwendolyn! We do, but we are out for the season. In the meantime, here is a good article on how to attract lady bugs to your garden! https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/beneficial/attract-ladybugs.htm -Jarratt w/ SOG
