Let me preface this by saying that his reviews are not authentic nor contain any validity as there is a sign at the front desk that takes $20 off services over $100 for a 5-star review. it’s pretty apparent reading the reviews left on this page that his past customers were enticed to do just that. I stopped by to have my brakes looked at, thinking I needed new brake pads. He took the car for a 5min drive around the block and propped it up to have a better look. He examined my car for maybe 20 mins but I waited over an hr for this because he was on the phone arguing with a vendor. He returned and told me I needed to have 2 major repairs totaling about $950. I was caught by surprise and quite skeptical so at this point, I was done waiting in an area smaller than my bathroom swarming with mosquitoes. He gave me the quote and asked me to fill out my name and phone number and sign at the bottom which I did and was ready to leave when he told me that the diagnostic fee was $100. I was never told of this and he said that if I did not want the repair, $100 was due today. Never was this once mentioned before he began to examine my car. He took the paper with the estimate back and wrote "$100 diagnostic" to an already signed sheet, making it look like my signature was affirming all 3 charges. You can see it was added on using a different pen. At this point, I can see he is becoming hostile and felt cornered with no option but to pay. To avoid a scene, I did but cannot help but feel guilty as I was coerced and belied out of $100.
