I have rented rafting boats from the fishing hole for a a couple years now and will never be back. Every time they have sent me out on a deflated raft and leave us on the side of the river waiting for them, only to call and find that no one is in their way. When I confront the owner and tell them about this trend he says its fine and became very argumentative with us. Overall, I would not take my chances with them any longer and hope no one else has to get stranded on the side of the river with kids waiting on the fishing hole, only for them to say they dont care.

This place is convenient and priced well. Our transporter was nice and gave us tips for rafting. We waited over a half hour for our raft, but the trip down the river with family was worth it. Friendly service and great sandwiches!

Great food, great people, and lots to offer. The food here is truly delicious. Whether you’re going rafting or going fishing, they have what you need. It’s practically a one stop shopping center. The Blue Heron gift shop offers a little something for everyone. Grab some lunch, go fishing, and on your way back pick up a gift and a bottle of wine!
