I was provided the wrong date for when the funds of a check would be released to me. The website states that FCCU will contact the member to let them know when larger deposits will be available; no one contacted me and I was given the wrong date when I called to inquire. I have banked with this location for over 10 years. They charge a monthly fee for their business accounts if a certain balance is not met. Other banks are no longer charging this type of fee; I will open an account elsewhere. The mortgage officer Jacob B. was VERY condescending and rude. He told me to call HIM back and when I asked that he call me or that we set a specific time to discuss the application, he refused to call me back (like normal customer service would do) and just kept saying 'call me back in the morning.' He was not prepared when I called him back when he told me to call him back. I went with another lender to get a mortgage because of this interaction. The car loan interest rates were excellent when I financed through them, though. If you need a banking solution where you never need customer service or a mortgage but need great interest rates, FCCU might be a good match for you. Otherwise, I suggest another credit union (most CUs have good interest rates).
