The food was not good. I appreciate good food even if it's hole in a wall. We ordered the chef's special, halibut and it was one of the most disgusting piece of fish I have put in my mouth. Unseasoned, not a pinch of salt, overcooked, and $40. Chef should go back to culinary school. Everything else was just OK. Nothing special. The restaurant survives on fad and status symbol.

Our dinner was awesome as usual. We love Dee Felice Cafe and the staff. We enjoyed the Halibut tonight with the portobello mushroom for the appetizer and Hot Slaw for a salad. Everything was delicious, thank you very much!!

I was really excited about coming here because the menu sounded fantastic along with reviews. Unfortunately, overall we were quite underwhelmed. The fried gator which is pictured was excellent, and best part about the experience. When we went to order our entrees- the catfish which is on the menu was not available. Okay it happens, whatever I get it. Then when the entrees came I had ordered the shrimp Po boy which then menu said had a spicy yogurt sauce. It had no sauce. Had to ask for it. Again not a huge deal. It was average tasting overall. Also, we had ordered a side of hushppies with our meals. By the time we got around to trying these, we realized although the outside looked beautiful- however, the inside were a uncooked raw batter. We didn't get a chance to complain because our server seemed to be busy with a couple new tables. It took a while for someone to finally come back so we could get boxes and our check. Expected a bit of a better experience overall especially for the prices. We also ordered some red beans and rice to go. They very much lacked flavor and needed salting.

First timer. Reservations on a Sunday night. Not busy. Was mildly impressed at first glance. Piano player was nice and casual. Drinks were served slower than would expect considering the crowd. Wife had something sticky on her wine glass. We didn't complain. I just used napkin and cleaned it off. They served bread and butter which was delicious. We ordered their escargot(6 for $20) for starter. Both our first time eating. We absolutely loved it! For main entree, wife ordered ravioli w/ meatballs($22). Nothing special. About what she makes for the family at home. I ordered the Halibut Forte($40). Was a little disappointed by the dish. It was simply a 6 oz piece of fish and (5) shrimp the size of a quarter. That was it! $40!! No side, no salad. The dish was appetizing though it was only seared in butter with some seasoning. Again, nothing special. For $40 I would've expected a little more. Waiter was very attentive and provided great service! All in all, the prices didn't fit the portion in my opinion.
