This is a nice clean stop and eat place middle of nowhere. There's some geocaching too, if you're into that kind of thing.

I grew up on this Lake, my grandparents lived here and owned the property for many, many years before passing away. This place holds so many memories for me. It's too bad we had to sell it, but at least it's a park that we can come back and visit.

In recent years this zone along Lower Crab Creek has been developed into a great recreational area. Right on Burkette Lake is a really nice place to stop, stroll, and watch wildlife in amazing outdoor scenery. Don't worry about noisy ATVs at this spot either. On the other side of the convoluted lake are several paths to explore. I just visited in mid-winter and it is beautiful.
