I've spent decades of my life and thousands of my dollars at Flying M. It is a shining beacon of light and beauty in a dark world. It is a place where people can feel safe and be themselves, whomever they may be. And it's also worth mentioning that the coffee is second to none in this city. In response to the customer complaining about the discomfort of explaining what a "dom top" is to his children, I'll admit as a fellow middle-aged CIS white guy, I had to look that term up as well. And I found the definition no more offensive than the time I had to explain to my children what the Nickelback lyrics "you look so much cuter with something in your mouth" meant after we heard that blaring from one of the million bicycle bars assaulting our ears downtown. Or when I had to explain to them that the grown men carrying assault rifles downtown were there to threaten and intimidate a peaceful assembly of citizens trying to stop police brutality across our nation. Or the many times I've had to explain that the blood on the sidewalks around 6th and Main is a consequence of the deadly combination of toxic masculinity and alcohol. We live in a complex world full of awful things. But it's also a world that's still full of beautiful things, and the community that Flying M has created for people who don't fit in anywhere else is absolutely one of the most beautiful things that the city of Boise has to offer.

I think this is a great place. Very unique and fun! The sweet delights and drinks are creative and flavorful. The way it should be! And to respond to William Clark’s review….”Do not take your young children here unless you want to have the conversation of what a “dom top” is. There is a gift shop to the right of the entrance that is filled with adult content. BEWARE if you have youngsters” William dear, what’s wrong? Is having a conversation about you being a discreet fem bottom too much to have with your children? 🙄 Perhaps you would be more filled with joy in this world if you actually purchased something from that gift shop to use on yourself. That’s all. :)

No one can enter the shop without a mask on and must leave it on until they are seated at a table or leave. Social distancing while in line. Limited seating (only five tables), spaced more than six feet apart. One entrance, one exit. Sanitizer at front door. Employees masked and constantly wiping things down. You can order online and have contactless pick up if you don’t want to wait in line.
It's seems more hippy ish and open minded to me.
Monday thru Saturday it’s open 9-6, Sunday from 9-4!
Weird question haha - why?
Depends on the time of day!
We serve Marketspice brand teas from Seattle and make our own chai inhouse!
