They have the most wonderful, and thoughtful staff. Very kind, always remember who we are and are worried about our missing mother/mother in law. They even keep a poster posted with our contact information to hopefully help us find her. April is our favorite and has become a life long friend, we wouldn't have made it off the street without the few caring people like her in our lives that cared about us when we didn't care about ourselves to much. Thanks again you guys! We are forever grateful!

Volunteers there were very helpful and very kind plus you get a lot of food as long as you get there before noon. They're open Monday through Friday 11:00 to 2:00. The only complaint I had was there was really not too many snacks but they can only give you what they get so no biggie 0

We do have teenagers volunteer. You'd have to have a parent call to talk to volunteer coordinator.
Yes they do if they have it. It dies change every time you go though. Most of it is through donations so there is no way of knowing it eill be the same thing as before.

Unfortunately, we cannot deliver food. Please call 2-1-1, the Sacramento County Service Assistance Operator, and inquire about the possibility of having food from the food closet picked up by an organization and delivered to you. I am not certain if this can be done, but it is worth trying.
Sunrise Christian Food Ministry food closet operates under the auspices of Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services (SFBFS). We are a separate entity, but we do receive food from SFBFS.
