Every phone number listed for each DMV listed does not work or even pick up. And if they do, it goes straight to a machine and it's unended loop of no help. So any questions you have to ask before you visit cannot be answered especially the fact of which one you need to visit for each requirement. Ended up wasting an hour sitting for nothing only to hear that "we don't do that here" when asking about getting a state ID. Other people looked clearly annoyed with the lack of help and customer service. Sucks to have to go to the DMV for anything, even worse when there is no help and the service is useless.

You can either go to courthouse in Bozeman or to the motor vehicle location next to oreilys auto parts store in Belgrade. 312 w. Main. It'll cost a little over $2.00 per copy.
You can renew up to three months after your expiration date (with a fee) I believe. After that, you may have to take a test or something. However, the courthouse in Bozeman is only for vehicle registration/renewals. For Driver's Services, you will need to go to 2005 Gilkerson.
