That's a tricky question. With regard to rebuilding, yes. Actually, it feels like the town has grown with several new businesses and neighborhoods. I don't know that you can ever completely recover psychologically from a tragedy of that scale. It's a scar that we remember all too well and mention less and less. As a business owner in Joplin, though, I feel like the town is more advanced/evolved, and it continues to grow in pleasantly surprising ways. I'm happy to do business here and to call Joplin "home".
