I’ve been bringing my clothes here since I moved to Chicago in 2017. They’ve altered all manner of things for me at varying levels of complexity, and the work they do is impeccable every time. On top of that, they get things done in a timely manner, and their pricing is very reasonable. Everyone should come here for alterations! I’ve been to a couple of other tailors here, and I can say for sure that these guys are the best in the city.

My bridesmaid dress came in much later than planned, and I was pretty panicked trying to find a place that could do the alterations in time. Carlos Tailor had fantastic customer service and communication. They did a great (and timely) job on my bridesmaid dress, as well as the dress that I plan to wear to the rehearsal dinner. Really grateful to them!

I've been going to Carlos' Taylor Shop since I was a kid when it used to be on old Maxwell Street before they tore it down and built University Village. They do great work in good time for fair prices. I don't take my clothes to get altered anywhere else.
It cost me 7$ for each pant and they are amazingly friendly and helpful!
