This was one of the worst hotels I have ever seen! The floors, and doors, were torn up, apparently by pets. The floors were sticky and dirty the first night. Lupita, the night clerk, was very nice and ordered room service for the next morning. The bathroom door didn't latch, so it was always open. The television had only a few channels, and one night we couldn't get it to turn off, without unplugging it. The remote wouldn't work. The maid was very nice, but the daytime clerk, Arcy?, was unbelievably rude, and told us that the room was "scheduled for remodeling" and acted like this was a legitimate reason to give it to us dirty and leave it that way! The curtains had holes in them, and the room had no coffee maker, shampoo, tissues, hair dryer or microwave. It did have a nice rain showerhead, and a new sink. Amazingly this was also one of the most expensive rooms I have ever been in, except for Hawaii or resorts in Florida,, at $250 a night! It was outrageous! Do yourself a favor; don't stay here!!!

Beware! We left one day early and they refused to check us out. Now they say we checked out after 11am. The non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke and cleaning chemicals. The smoke smell overwhelmed us all night. There were ants in the bathroom, and the bath mat was dirty when we arrived. We woke up with sore throats from breathing smoke all night, from the room and from smokers outside (turning off the air conditioner meant we'd be stifling hot inside and not at least circulating the inside air). We had no choice that night, but we had booked 2 nights and decided not to stay the second night. The desk employees would not let us cancel the second night, nor would they give us written acknowledgement that we checked out in the morning after only 1 night. They are charging us for 2 nights and we are currently disputing.

The staff here is friendly and the rooms are clean. The staff works hard to keep the entire place clean- parking lot, walkways, etc. The parking lot is lit up like Yankee Stadium at night! I appreciate the fact that they allow pets. You will see some guests who are obviously down on their luck, and it’s nice that this motel is there for them. Trouble makers aren’t allowed to stick around here. The owners are putting in considerable effort to make this a nice motel. In short, if you have pets you are traveling with, there might not be many options- but this Motel 6 is a good one.

This room was $150 a night. When wife & I got in the room it has a over powering smell of pine sol. So strong in got light headed. The TV picture was green as the picture tube or whatever was going out. &, check this, NO FRIDGE OR MICROWAVE!!!
