I walked in with zero knowledge of Martial Arts and have never had a better experience anywhere else in the U.S training and learning with Sensei and the other students. I learned so much about Martial Arts during my time at the dojo and about life as well; Sensei is someone I will treasure for the rest of my life for how she pushed me, supported me, and challenged me. If you have the chance to drop in for a trial class, DO IT. It is so worth your time and such an invaluable experience! 🙏🏼

The quality of training here got me through the marine corps beating combat instructors in sparring matches easily. And the quality of the people - couldn't ask for anyone better.

I was involved in various martial arts when I was younger and took some time off. Ninjitsu is by far the best, most practical art I have been in. Sinsei Jacobson is an amazing teacher. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and patient with her students and I am proud to be one. I highly recommend the Budo Ryu Ninjitsu Dojo!

Questions & Answers

How old do you have to be to train here, how much does it cost and does knowing Taekwondo or any other martial arts help in learning faster here? If you know the answer to any of these questions answer it you don't have to answer all of them.

The student needs to be 18+ years of age. As far as knowing other martial arts, that is not needed. Anyone, regardless if they have any martial arts experience or not, can come in and train. Anyone with a good heart and who is willing to learn is welcome in the dojo.

I want to learn ninjutsu and be dedicated to it. But wanted to know how much it cost? And what days are you open and what days are you close?

Thank you for the interest in classical ninjutsu. 🙏🏻 Please check out our website: www.BudoRyuNinjutsu.com. All the info is there on the “Training Info” page.

I would like to train in jujitsu. Everyone is doing Brazilian jujitsu these days, which is fine if you like wrestling in the dirt, but I consider it a derivative art, not the original. I want the old art. Anyone know anyone gd who teaches this in kc?

I'm not for sure your question. At the Budo Ryu Kai, we teach 7 ancient samurai / ninja traditional martial arts. One of many skills that is taught is jujutsu. If you are interested in learning authentic ninjutsu and samurai bujutsu, give us a call for a FREE trial class.

Your dojo are use horsemanship?

No, that is not something that is taught on a regular basis. We do multi-day camps in the summer, and that kind of training is what is taught in the summer camps. However, as far as day to day training, Horsemanship is not a skill that is taught on a regular basis.
