I brought a 100lb tank to get a partial filled, when I asked how many gallons It took to fill up the lady at the window said they charge the same price wether is a partial or complete fill. When I told her I don't think I will be coming back if that's how it is her response was " so don't ". What a RIP OFF.

Call Heller's Gas and make the switch.... you can thank me later!!!! I just experienced the same rude lady Anne that I see people talking about..... I currently have 4 accounts with Heller's gas and recently bought a place that had Modern Gas tanks so I decided to keep them through winter. Today I actually ran out of gas even though I was on automatic refill with them and the process to get them filled was nothing but unpleasant..... First I was told my account was delinquent for none payment but my payment was sent through bill payer on February 10th (same day I received the bill) but is delayed because of the USPS and their current situation. They wouldn't come refill the tanks without me paying with a credit card over the phone so essentially making me pay my bill twice. Second when they came and delivered the gas they filled the tanks and then turned the valves off on the tanks so my tenants would have to go out turn the tanks on and verify all the pilot lights to the appliances were lite. So that being said I had to get someone to come out separate of the gas company to turn the tanks on and get the appliances back up and running even though it was their fault for me running out of gas in the first place! So that all being said Heller's Gas will be bringing me their tanks March 10th and Modern Gas will be picking up their tanks on March 11th! Also Heller's Gas offers real-time Gas monitoring so you will never run out gas regardless of your usage, which Modern Gas does not. I hope this helps any current Modern Gas customers or any new people looking to choose a Gas supplier.
