Five star rating for Save a Lot...... Save a Lot staff are/were professionally courteous - very helpful - food quality good. Closing Save a Lot is hardship and loss to long time residents who WALK to shop for their groceries. Had neighbors walk by in disbelief this past weekend - their shopping bags empty.... very sad.... Who in Village of Johnson City and/or Town of Union in New York.... would allow Save a Lot - (only full food market on Main Street JC - accessible to many who walk) - to close and WHY ?? Article posted on Google referencing closure due to Village of JC growth "evolve" = GREED.... BU = greed = entitlement = DISRESPECT for and to residents of JC (and rich history) who have been here longer than BU and intermittent student.
