Worst phone service ever they LITERALLY HANG UP THE CALLS AFTER BEING IN HOLD FOR OVER 2 hour’s. Sad and pathetic all in one considering if people are calling in reference to their account it’s bcz they need the help. My child didn’t receive benefits in months followed every step for him to continue to receive benefits faxed numerous times paperwork, mailed and STILL NOTHING. Unreal!

If you need to replace, get a new card or update information like if your birthday is wrong on SSA system then this is not the place. The right location is the 820 grand concourse location. I came here and wasted my time but the security helped me find the right place.

I been trying to change my MR.to Miss for the last year. I called three time on April, May & June of 2021. I was reassured that Medicare changed my title so that my family doesn't have any problems when I'm gone. I called Medicare on 3/2022 and they haven't received the request from SSA. I been on hold for an hour now, I am very disappointing.

No, just bring your notice and whatever documents you may need to provide your case is taken care of. They're pretty prompt.
If you have to go .or. Do it online it is very necessary to change your immigration status
No it is not
Yes
Sometimes you can apply online
No. That location doesn't process social security cards. It's another location in the Bronx, just call social security or Google the location that does. Good 🤞
You could walk-in but keep in mind you will wait. It's better to make an appointment. But if you want to do something easy like pick up a benefit letter, you could walk in because the wait is not long
Yes, very sad that we retiree after spending a whole life working still have to pay from the miserable little bit of money that we get out of pension. No, the IRS doesn't give you medical insurance. After retiring you can get Medicare but of course you will have to pay a fee. Around $144.00 a month.
YOU HAVE TO SEARCH THEIR PAGE ON THE INTERNET AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT OR IF YOU ARE A DISABLED PERSON WHO USES A WHEELCHAIR OR WALKER, YOU APPEAR IN PERSON AND THE SECURITY WILL TELL YOU TO STOP IN THIS CORNER IF THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE TO CALL ANOTHER SECURITY SO THEY CAN HELP YOU GO UP AND THEY SERVE YOU QUICKLY BUT IF THEY SEE YOU THAT YOU ARE A HEALTHY PERSON, THEY WILL TELL YOU THE NUMBERS AT THE DOOR AND HOW TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.... I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU, OR BETTER SAID IT WILL HELP EVERYONE ONLY DISABLED (PHYSICALLY) CAN GO UP
No you have to fax the documents in. Sry.
I don't think so. You might have to call to make an appointment.
