We were in for a wedding. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were nice. Ours was not ready (a connected room), but they remedied that in less than 30 minutes. Great time in Kansas!

We stayed here on September 7th. We were just stopping for the evening to sleep on our way to South Dakota. We have stayed at multiple Drury Inns as they our one of our favorite places to stay. In fact when we were moving from Kansas to Illinois in 2006 we stayed in a Drury Inn for almost a month as we searched for a place to live and enjoyed our time immensely! Talk about an extended vacation for me and the children while my husband went off to work each day and house hunting on the weekends. Anyhow, back to the stay on the 7th. We arrived and the hotel staff was plesant enough. We were exhausted after a long drive and just wanted to lay our heads down to sleep as we were going to get up early, eat breakfast and head out. We opened our hotel door and were hit with the worst smell ever. I'm will admit I'm super sensitive to odors. You could tell someone had definitely had been smoking in this room and then it had tried to be covered up with something. I wanted to call down and see if we could switch rooms, but my husband was tired, I was tired and we both decided if we could just stick it out. I was nauseated all night and extremely happy to pack up and leave the next morning. I will say that this is a magnificent and super nice Drury Inn. The hot breakfast was terrific, the staff were all polite and went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. I only wish our room had not smelled and this would have been one of the best experiences we had ever had at a Drury Inn. We will continue to be loyal Drury Inn customers and hopefully next time I will not be to exhausted to change rooms if our room smells as bad as this one did. Tell your staff, especially the breakfast staff and the outside maintenance that their friendliness and cheerfulness is one reason we keep coming back!!
