Wow ! can't comment on the rest of the hospital but I can definitely attest to the abysmal performance of the ER and it's providers. The ER is dated and not in order. My bed just had a sheet thrown over it and the room had papers and trash in one corner. I explained my symptoms to my provider and she seemed detached, unconcerned, and destracted. She addressed my pain in a overall remedial approach. No testing for my new symptoms at all. I have been in the medical community for 30 years myself and I was legitimately surprised and disappointed here. This lack of professionalism would never be tolerated in NY where I'm from. I have empathy for the folks in this area who are forced to deal with this ER.

I have been undergoing cancer treatment since June. Dr. Kurniali and his staff have been amazing. The staff at the infusion center on the 7th floor have all been awesome as well. Their compassion and attention to detail is amazing.

Be ready to have to argue with the people in the billing department. Even when they have the referral they will lose it, insurance won't cover, and try to send you to collections.
