This will be my 3rd purchase with Great Lakes, I've had good luck and good deals. This visit I stumbled onto a remnant sale. Which was great because I'm doing my bathrooms.

Great Lakes is dishonest and doesn't stand behind their work. The installers broke my backsplash in half and installed it anyways. As the granite I picked has a very distinctive pattern and the backsplash was bookended to match the pattern, they knew the entire job would have to be redone at their expense so they didn't tell me. I didn't notice they had broken it and signed off. When I did notice it, they claim I broke it myself! All they cared about was the fact that I signed off when the installers were there. To try to explain further, the backsplash is a flat piece of granite, yet what they installed isn't flat. When I put a straight edge against the backsplash, the granite is perfectly flat until you get to where they broke it. After the break, the granite is no longer in plane with the rest of it, moving away from the straight edge. There is a quarter inch gap between the granite and straight edge by the time you get to the end of the backsplash. I wonder how I broke it and then magically shoved one end of the broken piece INTO THE DRYWALL A QUARTER OF AN INCH. Sorry, that's not possible. Take a look at the picture, apply a little logic and come to your own conclusion. In the second picture, you'll notice that the installers filled the break with epoxy to try to hide what they did... It was a poor attempt as I eventually saw it but Luis Garcia, the general manager, simply doesn't care. Third picture is probably not needed but I circled the epoxy they used to attempt to hide their screw up. It's plainly obvious to anyone with at least 1 semi functioning eye, except anyone at Great Lakes Granite... The dark green epoxy doesn't match any other green in the entire countertop and feels different under your finger nail. It's not granite... Great Lakes only cares about profits. They employee dishonest people and once they get that coveted signature from you, expect to get a middle finger if you have a problem. It's what they did to me...

UPDATE TO RESPONSE: You offered to cut the very thin shim in the corner of the picture, not the offset plywood that looks ridiculous. You said you would cut it with a razor blade. THAT I can do. You offered me $180.00 off a $3800.00 job. You did not stand behind your work. This company did a horrible, horrible job on our kitchen counters. Run away! They had to come out four times to do the counter and it is still not correct and still looks terrible. Suzanna lied to us multiple times and tried to tell me the DRAWING that they did of my kitchen was correct and my ACTUAL kitchen was not correct. They did a hideous job with the shims and said they can't fix it. Worst experience ever.

Yes, of course
The only authorized Cambria Dealer in Michigan is in mid Michigan, called Blasius.
Typically they will not as they dont want to be liable for any chance of damage to your tops when trying to do a modification.
Yes we can make any furniture that is custom such as end tables, coffee tables, dining tables, conference tables etc... We just need a preliminary design to begin the questions and quoting process.
