Had my brows done by Cat and she did such an amazing job; I absolutely love them!! She took great care of my brows and made sure I loved the outline before she went in with the process. Will absolutely go back for my touch up in a year or two. Make sure to check out the instagram page for before and after images!

Very professional and clean setting but the best part is the attention to detail and amount of time Cat spent getting the perfect color and shape for my aging brows!!!! I couldn’t be happier 😊

How long is the healing process for permanent makeup?

Stay Tint Artistry & Academy | Jul 6, 2022
Stay Tint Artistry & Academy | Jul 6, 2022

Permanent makeup for brows can take up to 7-10 days. Lip blush can take up to 3-7 days to heal on average. Eyeliner has the quickest healing time, and usually takes up to 3-5 days. Please note that healing times can vary per person based on your individual skin type and lifestyle factors. While the surface layer has appeared to heal the soonest, please keep in mind that it still takes 3-4 weeks for the pigment to surface to its true color. and skin layers underneath to fully heal. We provide instructions on proper aftercare, and this is an extremely important aspect of the long term success, effectiveness, health, and overall satisfaction with your permanent makeup procedure. This is a new process for clients and trusting the process is also vital in this process. Skin sensitivity, redness and swelling is to be expected for ~2 days after the procedure and will go away with proper aftercare.

How long does permanent makeup last?

Permanent makeup can last up to 1-3 years. Clients that choose a soft ombré or microblading application, a light color shade, did not follow the aftercare instructions or are getting corrective work done, may require more touch up appointments. Factors that will cause your permanent makeup application to fade faster include: tanning bed & sun exposure, regular exfoliation, oily skin, profuse sweating, using skin products with strong active ingredients (e.g. retinol, AHAs), and medical conditions. We recommend at maximum one yearly "color boost" touch-up to maintain the procedure’s color however, we do advocate holding off for as long as possible to maintain skin integrity. Permanent makeup is intended to offer daily functionality and time-savings and while adding a quick touch of makeup after a year or two is still providing you huge benefits of your initial investment.
