Great time all the time! Good food and drinks. Not to mention the atmosphere when people are around!

Went to see the Improvised Shakespeare Chicago show. Be there early as it sells out. It was a great time and the price cannot be beat.

Fun place to be at. I know a lot of people who come here and they're all fantastic.

Questions & Answers

I would like to apologize to Big Spoon for saying a marmoset was a marsupial. It is a monkey. But I loved what you did with it.

I think you'll be okay. :)

Can you tell me something about the "ratings" of the different shows you offer? I'm not a prude, don't mind a few profanities here and there, but I don't like it when the show gets just filthy. That's why I have not been to a comedy club for ages.

I'd say for the most part the shows are not terribly crass here as opposed to other places. Io teaches their improvisers to use their highest intelligence, however it still does happen. Stick to the earlier shows because they have a different expectation of the audience. In terms of teams, Virgin Daquiries on weds is really good and they're an all female team on weds that doesn't usually go for the super innapropriate jokes and it's free. Or try seeing a musical improv show like the Deltones. Shakespeare at 8 pm is a good option too. Although, with improv you can never predict where it will go, but here are some places to start.
