Smooth experience getting from the parking lot onto the river and amazing views on the 5-mile float. Staff is always kind and helpful. Made for the perfect day out with our team! (Not to mention we had a great breakfast nearby at Farmer's Daughter!)

Great time on the river! It was a great float for the whole family. Spent the day with my team from work and had a great time! We appreciate the JRO team helping us and making the float a great one. Mid-week floats are calm and not crowded . You should check them out!

They have really gotten organized!! We have floated with JRO for about 12 years-always have a blast! This year with the online reserving and waivers were perfect! Upon arrival they have a smooth process!! Highly recommend!

This is our new annual camp & float spot. We’ve stayed in a camper and without and enjoy it. The bathrooms are kept up well. Trash is picked up daily. Things move efficiently and fast from check in to bus ride to push in for float. There are a couple spots on site to walk into the water. The staff is great. This is that happy medium between roughing it and glamping.

We put in at echo it's a private access. Right across from Horse Creek.
The highway is named after the river. The James River in Missouri is named after the James River in Virginia. The river in Virginia was named after King James I of England.
We will open the second week of May. We do have some tent sites with electric.
You can bring your own float or kayak they charge $12 per person to haul your item and you up River. The float takes as long as you make it take. If you paddle the whole way you're going to get there quickly. If you stop at a Gravel Bar along the way oh, then you're not going to get there so quickly.
I was told at check in 1 before I got on the bus 2 and before we launched 3 times that if we were not back by 7 PM we had another day charge added
I am pretty sure you can, but I would call them for availability
You can call James River Outfitters & they should be able to give you that answer.
Rafts are only 5 miles. They are slower takes about 4-5 hours floating 5 miles.
If you leave a message they will call you back.may take a day or 2. I just reserved for trip!
I here that it 12 to 15 a night on the site
