Great place to shoot! Made my way out to WSA this weekend and found it to be a very welcoming place to shoot. Facilities and Grounds are very clean, and overall seems like a very well run Organization. I've never met and chatted with so many people at a Shooting Range before. Really nice overall experience. FYI - there are no Ammo Sales here, nor are there Firearm Rentals. Range fees are Cash or Check only. They do not take Cards. Fee is $30 for non-members and that's an all day pass for Pistol and Rifle. If you're in the area, check em' out. Even if you just stop in to find more information on the Club. I'm sure someone would be happy to assist. I'll certainly be back, and hope to become a Member. I suspect previous reviews indicating negative experience(s) are from those who encountered Rules Violations on the Range. Look, it's simple; follow Range Rules and the guidance of the RSO's and you won't have any problems. Generally, if you get yelled at, it's for a reason. Safety is everyone's responsibility out there.

Read reviews of past visitors and went with an open mind. Went with a buddy of mine. Staff very helpful and congenial. We were taken back by how helpful they were as it was our first time there and I needed to sight in a new scope. They explained which lane I should start in and then move out further once close to the bullseye. My thoughts about past reviews are that I think they were braking rules and that is just there way to get back at the range because they can't follow safety rules to begin with.

Came here a few times, can truthfully say myself, along with roughly 12 other people will no longer be coming back. The RSO's are extremely rude and uneducated FUDDS. They will chastise you about your firearms and your level of knowledge. Steer CLEAR of this place. When I left I told them I wouldn't be coming back and confronted the RSO about his obnoxious behavior. His reply was "We won't miss ya". Which is unfortunate because the RSO was looking for reasons to be mad at myself and my group saying we were breaking rules. Which we hadn't at any time. So basically they drove away a large group of potential members because an RSO was emotionally compromised, and as an adult man acted like a spoiled child with a FUDD mentality. I strongly urge you to AVOID this place at ALL costs.

Great place to shoot. More affordable with a membership. The RSOs are safe but some give unwanted/unneeded comments. Mostly related to your gear choice or firearm selection. Some are just rude. I have been trying to volunteer for the last 2 months and no one has returned or got into contact with me

Since Wisconsin does not have an unconstitutional gun "license" requirement, you can shoot as long as you are 18 or older and not a felon.
Yes
That's a question for the DNR, should be on their website
What are your range rules?
Any type of rifle or handgun. Yes there is an archery area with elevated platforms and you can also shoot crossbows in this area.
The website has a P.O box you can mail it to, that's what I do. Otherwise the first meeting is January 30th at 7, I assume you could pay someone then.
Thanks
