Would never recommend for anyone. Won't allow people under 21 to camp after not mentioning that over the phone. The females were very rude and inconsiderate and even went so far as to insult us by asking if we would like to camp 40 miles away instead

We float here at least 2 or 3 times a year. Very friendly staff and they want to make sure that you have a great day on the river. Highly recommend!!!!!

We love Hootentown!! Always friendly staff, And if ya stroll in after hours, they just allow you to make yourself at home.. They always take such good care of us when we come and I will always recommend this place for a fun weekend of camping, kayaking, campfires and laughing, or even if you just wanna relax for a night by a warm camp fire, this is the place to come hands down... Yes
The water level is up 2 foot. It will be hard to stand in fast areas. I wouldn't suggest children or unexperienced go until the river drops. It should be good tomorrow or Friday, depending on much it drops. Call or message us at Hootentown Canoe if you have anymore questions. Always happy to help
Kayaks are $15 per and rafts are $7 per person if having to make a special trip or $20 minimum. Dogs are allowed on the buses, no extra charge. You don't need to camp to be shuttled. Dogs are always welcome but need to be kept on a leash please, no extra charge.
We have kayaks, single and tandem, rafts, canoes and tubes.
2 to 3 ft right now awesome place to go floating or swimming
yes
We are open year around. You are more than welcome to camp with us

Yes, we have electric for tents, $15 per night.
Yes we do, American Express, Discover, Visa and Mastercard.
A 4 mile 3-4 hour is $60 for up to 4 people, each additional person is $10. The 7 mile 6-7 hours is $80 for up to 4 people then $10 for each additional person. Camping is $12 per tent per night, campers are $20 per night. Give us a call if you need anything else. Thank you
For the 4 mile 2 hour,$12.50. Shelvin Rock is a 7 mile 3-4 hours which is $15 per kayak.
If I recall correctly it is $10 per tent per night. You can call them and talk to Debbie, the owner, to confirm. She is a nice lady.
was told as of Friday eve-it has came up to 1 1/2 ft.there are couple spots that may have to be walked just a little depending on the vessel you are in.plastic will go through these spots easier than aluminum and the weight inside will also be a factor
Hopefully it will bring the river up some.
at the moment 4-6 hr depending on how fast you paddle could take less or if you are just floating anywhere in that range or longer if ya swim alot
