Missing two stars because of change in rules concerning dogs. Prior to Covid, dogs were allowed into the market. I live in Streeterville and going to the market after my morning walk with my dog was a weekly Tuesday routine enjoyed by both of us. I understand during the height of the pandemic the need for physical space but at this point please reconsider the no dog rule.

Removing 2 stars because today JUDY who is head of organizing this particular farmers π market in Streeterville approached me and my service dog not just once but TWICE when my poor pyrenees puppy was doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! She had all her assistants harass not just me but other women who had their service animals with them. She Finally crossed a line when she grabbed me by my shoulder with an air of Authority to insist I keep my poor submissive dog on a tighter lead. I've been shopping here regularly and Judy intentionally harasses anyone with a dog ruining their π shopping π experience. I've asked the farmers π here on numerous occasions if dogs are not allowed π« and why Judy holds so much aggression and contention for dog owners and they all told me they love dogs and they have NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER if a dog attends this market. My dog doesn't bark, never has "accidents " here, doesn't do anything destructive and if anything he tends to hide from strangers here who try to pet him. I'm allowed to have a dog here and Judy who runs Soar's makes everyone with a dog absolutely miserable. If you want to see a change perhaps write a truthful review of how you were treated while bringing your service dog here to this particular location! Soars is a 5 star π experience but I'm deducting the two extra stars because I don't like complete strangers grabbing me by the shoulder especially now with monkeypox going rampant here! The π flowers, fruits, vegetables, iced coffee β and breads π are wonderful here. If Judy is allowed to harass and grab us at will I'm not sure i feel safe here. I feel so sorry for my new puppy πΆ. Judy absolutely spoiled our shopping π experience

Used to live in the hood and had almost forgotten about this wonderful little farmer's market in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art. It has almost everything the larger markets offer. I scored four of the season's last field-grown tomatoes... a bouquet of fragrant eucalyptus... a loaf of fresh herb bread... a chocolate covered yummy... and a healthy ponytail plant to take the place of my old scraggly one that had outgrown its pot. I would have bought more veggies but had just grocery shopped the day before. Open on Tuesdays, when the museum is closed. Only the gift shop was open... my favorite place for unique gifts. Almost impossible street parking.
