Went here for like 2 months 1 year ago And great classes and friendly people Also best prices in the area it just sucks that I moved to a different city Or I would have kept going The closest place to my house over here is like 300 a month and they don't do any bjj sparring for the first couple of months which sucks

TTM is a great place to train for the entire family! The instructors are skilled and knowledgeable and just amazing people in general. Our kids genuinely enjoy coming to class, which should speak volumes in this day and age where many kids just prefer to stare at screens all day. I also enjoy coming to classes. I learn so much each time and it’s a great workout too! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!

They do have heavy bags to hit; they also just went through a remodel so they have them down, but yeah they are there. Also they have striking classes where they incorporate strike pad drills. They also have grappling classes and general group classes, as well as one to one sessions. It is a great program, my family has been here over 5 years. If you have kids there is also a great youth program.

What's the gain? Are they just training people for self defense or can someone go pro from this?

Daniel Nava | Oct 5, 2018
The Training Mat | Oct 5, 2018

We give people the tools needed to defend themselves. We teach, awareness, what to do in various situations, how to be physically fit, and offer competition for those that want to test themselves. While competition is an option, it is not our main focus and used more as a testing ground than a career path. If you plan to go pro we can recommend other schools more focused on competing. Thanks for the question and don't hesitate to call if we can help with anything else.
