They were life savers! I forgot all of my contacts and glasses at home when my family and I vacationed down to Stuart and despite calling 3 other optometrists in the area, no one was willing to take the time to help. Kelsey at Stanton Optical was the exact opposite! She helped me over the phone asked me to fax in my prescription from my normal optometrist and was able to get me a back up pair of contacts on the spot! They did this just to help me out and if they are willing to go the extra mile for me, I can't imagine how great they are with regular patients. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Editing my review of this place because they are a total ripoff. Most of these positive reviews are bribes! I was told to leave a positive Google review because if I did, I would get a discount on my glasses. But my experience was FAR from positive. Was told we'd get two pairs of glasses plus eye exam for 99 dollars (I'm not sure what the current deal is, but that was the deal at the time.) Ended up leaving the place having spent well over 400 dollars because they don't tell you that only about 10 frame designs actually qualify for that two for 99 deal, and we got charged extra in fees and services. The eye doctor was inexperienced and did not know how to handle or treat my eye disorder, and the lenses I ended up with were really wrong for my eyes. The frames that ended up costing double what I expected completely broke in about 8 months and I had to tape them together just to be able to see, the lenses got incredibly scratched for minimal wear and tear (I've had other glasses last me two years plus with no scratches at all), and the screws rusted away!!! When we brought them in for repair, even though they were under protection, they refused to do the repairs because apparently none of that was covered by protection (then what is???) Please, save your time and money and go someplace else. I personally have switched over to Walmart Vision Center and they are much kinder, more competent, and cheaper prices for exams, frames, and lenses.

I have the eye Rx from hell. Stanton optical took my combined Rx from 2 different Doctors and made me new lenses. They were courteous and I got my new lenses back sooner than anticipated. Unfortunately as I have the Rx from hell the lenses weren't right. As I need part of my Rx done by a specialist they said they could do no more and refunded my money. I just want to say that they were kind, courteous, truthful, and trustworthy. I would totally use them again if I did not have the Rx from hell.
