We’ll kept park. Some sites have beautiful views and are quite large. Somehow we picked a small one with no shade and no views. Shower houses are decent. Lots of water faucets, but nothing at each site.

Nice, quiet during the week. Too many Lilly pads to fish on the back side where we were but will be going back.

Good place to go camping. It's not to far from where we leave at.The only thing don't like is have to do it on line. Would be nice to make a phone call to make a reservation.
Green Savant
An hour from home, and right on the Great River Trail. Easy bicycling up to Savanna, and the trail goes all the way down to the QC. A variety of campsites, and most are close to a shower house. If it wasn't great, it wouldn't always be packed. It is along the river. (Bugs & mosquitos.) There can be flooding /standing water. It might rain. You might not have a good day fishing. None of these are reasons to ding your rating!

No swimming. Not exactly slime. It's called duckweed. Very small plant with leaf peddles similar to clover. Common in wetlands.
