If I could give this place more stars I would. This place has the best katsudon and miso soup that I've ever had. It's always a hit each time I go. My partner enjoys their ramen. The staff there are also very friendly and go above and beyond for you. Would 100% recommend this place if you want Japanese food on the central coast.

The menu items are true Japanese cuisine and not the usual americanized standard. The quality of ingredients is high. The customer service is superb. The portions are great and flavors are irresistible!

There is a reason the small family owned restaurants are so good. I believe it is because they can stay focused on the quality and not the quantity. You will taste the quality in never frozen fish when you eat real traditional Japanese style sushi. Definitely try the Shishito peppers and sashimi mmmmmm. Thank you!

Fabulous dining experience. Fresh and DELICIOUS every time I have eaten at the restaurant. Whether I have take out or choose to dine in the food is always fresh. Izakaya Raku will be a restaurant I will continue to go back to and also introduce others to. Their green tea 🍵 is amazing!
