I bought a set of tires through Costco and had them installed at their tire center. When I came to pick up my car they informed me that two of my lug nuts were stripped, and told me that I was fine driving with missing lug nuts. I was told it wasn't a big deal and I could just go to my car dealership or an auto zone to buy myself some new ones... I understand that mistakes happen but seems like the bare minimum they could have done is call ahead to a auto shop to pay for some new lug nuts. After they reluctantly admitted that the stripped lug nuts were their fault I was offered a piece of pizza to make up for the issue. Definitely would not recommend bringing a car here if you want quality service.

Worst experience. Everything. -2hr installation time (told to be 1hr); -got four old tires with shelf life over one year; -pressure indicator was on right after the installation and they did not solve this after revisit; -they torque your bolts in a circular direction rather than following the start pattern.

My visit today was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I drove up to the Tire Center for a lug nut rotation; an employee told me to park in front of the third pay. I started to straighten my car and he told me I didn't need to because the rotation would take three minutes. He walks away. Two minutes later an employee comes out screaming at me to move my car. I told him his colleague told me to park here. I pointed at the employee, who stood there and did nothing. The second employee continued to berate and shout at me. I parked in front of the first bay, where he directed, and he screamed at me again to park along the side of the building. It was humiliating. He leaned through my driver side window and grabbed my steering wheel and rotated it because my wheels were not facing the right direction. I had no idea who this man was. His body was in my car, with me in the driver seat, and he was in control of my steering wheel. It was terrifying. This man clearly had anger management issues and no one did anything. The second employee walks away. Thirty seconds later, a third employee walks up to my car window and asks me to MOVE MY CAR because I was blocking his bay. Are you kidding me? I did speak to the third employee about what happened. He did not take me seriously at first, but he was listening and apologetic by the end. My advice to Costco Tire Center: 1) Find a spot to do a lug nut rotation and stick to it. The tire center parking lot would work great. Don't have customers drive up to the bay / wall and block traffic. 2) If you do not have space for a three minute lug nut rotation, do not even offer this service. 3) Your employees don't communicate to each other. At all. This is why you have a 3.2 rating on Google. Work on communication. Do a team building exercise. I don't care what you do to fix it, but the lack of communication is why you have terrible service. Needless to say, I won't be coming here again. I'd rather pay a level headed mechanic than deal with the folks at Costco Tire Center.
