Walked into this store knowing nothing about Warhammer, Ryan was very knowledgeable and took time to explain how it worked. Very nice environment and now I have a new hobby.

I appreciate the way Ryan runs this store. People could teach lessons on customer service using this guy as the instructor. He greets every customer personally and has a powerful knowledge of his products. No pressure to buy and he gladly allows first time customers time to browse and watch the games being played so we can get an understanding of what's going on. Walking into the Warhammer store at the district, the very first thing you might notice is the size. Its a small shop, with tables for maybe 8 games, and half of that is set aside for painting. The two long walls are loaded with miniatures (though they might not have less popular options in stock), and the back wall has a good selection of GW paints. The next thing you will notice (if not the first) is a friendly greeting from the smiling owner at the rear of the store. Ryan is probably the best game/hobby store employee, manager, or owner I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Right away he makes sure to address you, and even if he is busy with someone or something else, he makes sure to let you know he knows your there and will be with you as soon as possible. Talking with Ryan is the best part of coming here, he remembers what you are working on, he always has great advice, whether it's on the rules of the games or tips on the hobby. Unlike every other game shop I have been too, I have never felt pushed to buy more, and never felt like I was an inconvenience (many game stores feel uninviting if you are not one of "the regulars"). The community that participates here is also great, always glad to answer questions or talk about the hobby. This store may not be the biggest, it may not have the most tables or biggest selection (Though you can order anything in GWs catalog and have it delivered to the store if its not in stock.), but it is hands down the best in Utah in terms of customer experience.
