This tattoo shop should be listed as one of the top ten in the US. I traveled to get a black out from Hoode. Words can’t describe how amazing he is. While getting my work done, I noticed all of the artists in the shop have amazing energy and some of the best quality/range tattoo work I’ve seen. Definitely the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had.

Specifically came to Black Vulture for work from Hoode- I'd gotten work by him before and it was wonderful. It was a little confusing because he told me to come in before the opening hours they have online, but after contacting them directly it was verified and fine. Hoode was able to tattoo over my scars and do quality work that I know will stay in my skin for a long time. The shop is an open-style configuration, dark and spooky just like I feel comfortable in. Hoode and the rest of the crew (both artists and counter staff) were chill and pulled no punches. I can't speak on the other artists as I haven't gotten work by them, but Hoode is wonderful and the rest of the people there were so chill and friendly.

I booked an appointment with holly while i was in philly. She managed to get me in on one of the only two days i was free, she responded within the day to all of my emails. The tattoo she designed is absolutely gorgeous and fits my description of style and subject matter perfectly! She was super kind and professional. I would highly recommend holly.
