One of the many beautiful views/parks in Duluth! But between the tower and shelter this park is a must visit! Easy access to both places without much hiking. Although it’s about 6 sets of stairs to the top of the tower. Very cool zen garden with a bell like gong as well! Might also find some blueberries and raspberries near the rocky outcrops!

Great place for bird's eye view of Duluth. The. Park also has a Japanese garden and a cute coffee truck. The place is great if you want to to find some alone time or some quietness.

This is a must see if you are visiting Duluth. The tower is beautiful with breathtaking views of the lake. Also walk to the gazebo to get another beautiful view of Lake Superior. I enjoyed a nice and quit walk in this park. I saw some does too.

Incredible views from anywhere in the park. As a tourist from the twin cities I almost think walking around in the neighborhoods right below the park to the north east would give you better views of Duluth and the lake. But what do I know, I’m just a tourist.. There was a food truck on both days we went there. And there is a Japanese garden and obviously the tower which is pretty neat.

Yes gates are open in summer, come winter they are closed. Walk in only, not plowed.
It is totally free and so is parking... And there are ample parking spaces.
Dogs are allowed! They even have a station to clean up if your dog has an accident.
All free, staircase to the top amazing view! Trails, many overlooks of the city's with pavilions. Also the peace Bell which you can ring! Must see.
It's generally open for vehicle access up until the first heavy snow.
I believe so. Lots of open area. But social distancing is a must.
