Police showed up HOURS after I called, when I was in need of deescalation immediately. Then they gaslit the hell out of me and made me look like the bad guy when I needed help, so I feared pursuing anything further because they refuse to ever actually help.

We accidentally Locked our keys in our car and our dog was inside. We called layton police and within 5 minutes officers arrived to help us. It was a tricky one but officer Huerta, Pagano and even an off duty officer worked together and saved our pup! Even though it was frustrating for them because our car was being a pain they were all happy to keep trying and helping with good attitudes. What amazing people serving our community. Thank you guys. You saved the day!

I know police get a bad rep but let me tell you about layton police! They are amazing! They came to a car crash I was in, helped me immensely! Had an issue with a local food place, they got it resolved! Thank you for all you do for civilians! You all don’t get enough recognition and respect! Thank you thank you thank you! Your officers are very professional & understanding and that, you can’t put a price on!

Call the davis county animal control, they will go check on the dog, and also discuss the weather laws with the owners. Tomorrow, Monday the 31st, they are open.
I am not a police officer but I think they should obey the laws like everyone else
Yes 1030 pm to 700 am. Note that sometimes certain things like road repairs and road construction must be done at night at times and maybe early morning when there is less traffic. So UDOT would be exempt for instance. Feel free to call dispatch at (801)497-8300 anytime for help with these issues. 🙂
You can report traffic violations online at https://www.laytoncity.org/LC/Police. Anything currently happening please call dispatch 24/7 at (801)497-8300. Unfortunately though, sometimes due to high call volume things like parking violations might have to wait for a response and highest priority calls are handled first.
Unfortunately, more details are needed to say... but luckily you can file a report 24/7 so we can get all the necessary details and let you know. You can do that online at www.laytoncity.org/lc/police/crimereportqualify or by calling us in dispatch at (801)497-8300. Good luck
Any residential kinds are ok (meaning it's not made to collect for an entire business such as a nursing home), it has instructions listed on it for proper disposal of needles and pills.

First learn to spell disagree, second get educated, third get your child vaccinated. Ultimately though no, you shouldn't call the police for that.
