It was actually a pleasant experience, I know I go on a lot about fish n chips, but I had fair warning that they'd substituted Waleye for the regualar pollack. What was important important was that, it was well cooked and quite a nostalgic presentation in a basket. I actually quite enjoyed it, although the ubiquitous all American French Fries, will never be a realistic substitute for real English chips. The Bayside Inn, in Fish Creek did have an interesting menu so I do intend at least one more visit. There wasn't a lot of light for my phone snap so it's hardly a decent photo. Nonetheless I liked the place, the food and the server.

We had a nice relaxing time having dinner with our kids. The kids had mac & cheese woth zero complaints. They both had rootbeer. My husband and I had some spotted cow. He and fish n chips and i had a BLT grilled cheese. Our server was super nice. Looks like a fun place to go with kids and also without! All of our meals came with a pickle

The place was pretty busy even though staff was great! They did a good job. Not very many businesses open in Door County so I am thinking that is why is was busy. Food was good. Sorry I forgot to take a picture. I had the fish sandwich. It was small pieces of walleye. It reminded me of perch.

Large interior bar, outdoor seating in back overlooking the water, great location and food served nice and hot make this a great place to stop for lunch. The side cheese curds and mushrooms were very delicious and highly recommended.
