Great campground, electric at every site, numerous boat ramps on the river nearby. Price can't be beat, and arguably best of all, cell service is marginal at best, allowing you to actually disconnect for a bit. Love my stays there, cannot wait to get back.

We just spent 3 nights there, very quit, no one else was there 2 of the 3 nights. Deer and turkey kept an eye on us. The temps were in the 90s so the electricity was nice to run the AC. The camp is clean and roomy sites.

What is the fishing situation like on the Menominee River at Chalk Hills Rd around the dam? I never fished it. Any help would be appreciated

Electric some 50 amp most 30 amp $17 a night. No water at the site. There is a community water spigot at the entrance.
