We love our Catholic faith! We love Jesus Christ! We put only God on a pedestal, not the priests or people running the Catholic church, they always disappoint. It was sad to hear in the news this week about the Catholic priest from Holy Cross in Vero Beach, Father Richard Murphy and his manager Mrs. True robbed over $1.5 million from its church and parishioners over a five year period from 2015-2020. It really hurts the church and tarnishes it, a test from God they did not pass, to be tempted by the devil to steal from the people who trust and put their faith in them and God. It will certainly be part of the downfall of the church as a whole. This happened at another church here in this diocese a few years ago at a church either in Boca or Delray Beach too, it was in the news a few years ago. Very very sad. We need to pray for Catholic priests today more than ever, they need our prayers greatly. Our head priest at St. Helen's in Vero is no saint either, Matthew, we see him at Planet Fitness gym most days in the morning and he completely ignores us, avoids us, and denies us, he knows us from church, we go to mass each week and all holy days, we have gone to confession with him and donate a lot of money to them and this diocese, and they ignore you, we have never seen a priest behave this way toward parishioners before in our lives, we expect more from head priests and people who are supposed to represent God. How can a Catholic priest be so indifferent? Judge us without even knowing us? Ignore us and avoids us? Matthew ignores us like the old man did to Lazarus in the parable by Jesus in Luke 16. It is sad to see today in our society priests ignoring their sheep. Priests just continue to walk right by the injured like in the Bible story of the Good Samaritan. It must pain God. Even another priest from Colombia from this same PB Diocese meets men in the gym and has sex with them and does not tell them he is a priest until after. Catholic priests today need our prayers more than ever, we put our trust in them, and they continue to fail us, allowing satan to make them slaves of his, instead of passing God's tests, hurting all parishioners and the church as a whole. Please pray for the Catholic Church, the Catholic priests, this diocese, and all their so called leaders that are tempted by the devil and do not pass the tests of God and fall to doing all these bad things to God's good people, especially the marginalized parishioners. Jesus' wounds hurt more when He sees his church people who represent Him behave this way toward His children. The Catholic Church and Catholic priests need our prayers more than ever today. Pray pray pray for priests!

My warmest thanks to Father Brian King for putting me in touch with the lovely Father Gavin at the Cathedral for a house blessing. It meant so much to me, so thank you for your kindness and responsiveness.

Nice to see the church filling up again You know what they say about opinions but things seem to be better under the new pastor. Love the singer. She can sing anything which is good since many of the selections are very difficult with little melody but to be honest I know very little about music Really enjoy the Irish priest. He is fast funny and always makes a point often educational with some history. Not sure about the microphone or the acoustics or what but sometimes miss some of what he says.

It would be nice to have a 30 minute mass in morning. Maybe 7:00-7:30?
