Our first interaction with steve ogdens carpet was a really good one. Our sales rep was daeshaun and was awesome! we loved working with him. We felt he cared about our needs and got us taken care of. Unfortunately he left the business and customer service went downhill fast. We had a scheduling problem with the electrician, and called to to see if they could work with us and possibly reschedule, I asked if there was any way they could work with me and his response was very stand offish and said "I cant accept another contractors problems" I totally understand that my electricians scheduling problem is not their problem but his attitude was poor and he could have been nicer about the situation and explained their policy nicer. I wont be back.

Ogden's flooring was so helpful and easy to work with as we were in the process of moving into our new home in January. They scheduled our old carpet to be removed and new carpet to replace it on the exact day and times that worked with our closing dates and moving schedule and finished in what I felt like was a quick amount of time! The carpet layers were kind, professional, and funny. The man who helped us choose our carpet - I've forgotten his name - was honest with us and did not try to upsell us. He was patient with our picky decision making process, and even made himself available to us via his personal phone for questions and scheduling. And this is all not to mention how much we love our carpet!!! 4 months later and it still looks brand new. Friends and family comment on it when they come over, and we often find ourselves commenting on how grateful we are to have chosen the carpet that we did. The one thing that I wished was different is that they dont list prices for their carpets online. It would be helpful if they did so that a quick price comparison could be made before choosing which company to go with. I understand their reasoning behind not listing prices, but it would be nice. Just call, message, or go in to learn prices. We appreciate our experience with Ogden's Flooring and Design in Riverton, and are so grateful for the affordable and easy experience it was to buy carpet from them!

Poor customer service. Salesman (dark curly hair) was more concerned with telling me why what I wanted was wrong and asking me personal questions rather than helping me find the flooring that I wanted. FYI you cannot take any samples home to see how they look, you have to schedule an appointment to have someone come out to give you an estimate. I walked out as the salesperson was still trying to argue with me. I will not be purchasing flooring from ogdens flooring in Riverton ever.

A Masterclass in Carpet We stopped in at the Riverton store hoping to find carpet for our new Atlanta home. Tyson, the manager, kindly advised against purchasing in Utah given the significant, pandemic-driven increase in shipping costs. As noobs to carpet purchasing and despite the fact that we wouldn’t be purchasing carpet from him, Tyson took the time to explain the ins and outs of carpet, e.g., pile height, twist, density, dyeing, etc. In 30-min, we had a functional understanding of how to evaluate carpet quality. His excitement for carpet was infectious. Since Tyson’s Masterclass, I’ve found myself evaluating every carpet I walk on. Thanks, Tyson for raising my Dad stats to a new level!
