My husband and I went here for our anniversary on July 3rd 2022 and got Hibachi. The waiter was prompt and attentive, got our drinks and took our orders quickly. We got a Sushi roll as an appetizer,and it was very tasty. The chef arrived and double checked our orders, which was fortunate because mine had been mistaken (I asked for shrimp and scallops, they had me down for shrimp and salmon). They quickly fixed the mistake, and got cooking. Our chef seemed a bit tired, and I could hear other chefs around the restaurant putting on a little more showmanship... but I suppose everyone has an off day. They served probably the best fried rice I've had in a long time, probably because of the copious amounts of soy sauce used. The meat and veggies were good, but they did cover everything in teriyaki sauce.... I wish they would have asked because I would have preferred my shrimp and scallops just lightly seared in butter with no sauce. The biggest foul of the night, and main reason I am not giving 5 stars... I ordered sake, and noticed it was out of date. I realize that it is a best by date, so it's not necessarily dangerous.... But it just seems like something you wouldn't want to had a customer. Also if this is out of date, what else are they not paying attention to that may be out of date and possibly dangerous?

Went for my birthday dinner solo, got the Michigan and Traverse City rolls. Wonderful! I got there around an hour before closing and wanted to order more but they were cleaning up and didn't want to be rude

I was very impressed with the experience. I had the Kani salad ,which was filling , then the angel kiss roll and the Shanghai la roll I thought I could eat it all but I just couldn’t finishing up with three of each left. Everyone was very nice and my server unforgettable!!!!! I hope to get back again soon! Thank you for the awesome meal!
